Start SoundFX by double-clicking the SoundFX-icon. This causes a small window to be displayed, in which you can see what happens. After loading the SoundFX screen will appear. There all action will take place. The screen is a public screen, which means that other applications can open windows there too. The public screen is called "SFX-PubScreen". Pressing the "Help" Key activates the online-help for the active window.

When you start SoundFX first, loading the software takes a bit longer as it creates some indexes for the help and database-files (if they not yet exist).
